Strengthening International Networks, Udayana Environmental Engineering Welcomes 4 French Internship Students University General

`

The Environmental Engineering Study Program at Udayana University (Unud) is actively expanding its international academic collaboration network by welcoming four internship students from France. During their time in Bali, these students are conducting field research and studies under the direct supervision of Udayana University's Professor of Environmental Engineering, Prof. Kadek Diana Harmayani.

For this internship program, the students are focusing their research on a highly relevant topic: "Water Supply System Distribution Networks in Rural Bali." This subject directly addresses the ongoing challenges of providing equitable access to clean water in remote areas. The students are carrying out field observations and technical analyses to evaluate existing systems and design optimizations for rural water supply infrastructure.

The research focus of these French students aligns perfectly with the established academic track record of the Unud Environmental Engineering program, which actively models and evaluates rural water distribution networks (such as PAMDes) utilizing hydraulic simulation software and spatial mapping systems. This research collaboration serves not only as a platform for cross-border knowledge exchange but is also expected to deliver applicable technical recommendations to ensure sustainable clean water supplies for rural communities across Bali.
