ACADEMIC ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES

Student Admission & Registration

  • New Student Admission: Undergraduate admissions are conducted through National Selection Based on Achievement (SNBP), National Selection Based on Tests (SNBT), and Independent Selection tracks. A separate selection process is available for the International Program.

  • New Student Registration: Admitted applicants must complete online re-registration for Tuition Fee (UKT) and Institutional Development Fee (IPI) assessment. Upon completion, students receive a Student ID Card (KTM), an alma mater jacket, and must participate in the New Student Campus Life Orientation (PKKMB).

  • Semester Re-registration (Returning Students): Active status must be confirmed every semester via the SIMAK system (https://simak-ng.unud.ac.id). Students must pay tuition (UKT) and consult their Academic Advisor for Study Plan Card (KRS) approval.

  • KRS Adjustments: Course selection revisions can be made up to 2 weeks after the start of the semester.

Lecture & Final Examination (UAS) Regulations

  • Attendance Requirement: A minimum 75% attendance record is mandatory to sit for the Final Semester Examination (UAS). Students below this threshold are disqualified from the exam and will automatically fail the course.

  • Attendance Relief: Attendance requirements may be reduced down to 50% only by the Dean upon recommendation from the Head of the Study Program. This applies exclusively to students representing the university in official off-campus activities or those with formal medical certificates.

  • Learning Delivery: Classes and exams are held in person or online using Learning Management Systems (e.g., OASE), video conferencing tools, or other agreed platforms.

  • Grade Improvement: For retaken courses, the highest grade achieved will be recorded on the official academic transcript.

Academic Leave Services

  • Eligible only after completing at least 2 full semesters of study.

  • Granted for a maximum duration of 2 semesters, which cannot be taken consecutively.

  • The leave period remains counted toward the student's total maximum study duration limit.

  • Academic leave is strictly prohibited during the final semester of study.

Code of Conduct & Academic Sanctions

  • Dress Code & Conduct: Students must wear neat collared shirts, formal footwear with socks, and adhere to the university-wide smoking ban across all campus grounds.

  • Academic Integrity: Cheating and plagiarism carry severe penalties, ranging from exam invalidation and thesis topic cancellation to suspension or dishonorable expulsion.

  • Academic Dismissal (Drop Out): Students who fail to re-register or record no grades for two consecutive semesters without taking official academic leave will be classified as withdrawn or academically dismissed.

Student Transfer (Mutation)

  • Internal and external student transfers are strictly regulated. Applicants must hold a minimum GPA of 3.50, have completed between 40 and 60 credits (SKS), pass a field competency test, and fit within the program’s current seat capacity.

Graduation & Degree Conferral

  • Students who complete all academic and administrative requirements must attend both the Faculty Discharge Ceremony and the University Commencement (Wisuda).

  • The Faculty of Engineering awards the "Best Graduate" distinction based on an Achievement Index (IC), calculated using GPA, total duration of study, and graduation honor predicate.
