HMTL Udayana University Wins 3rd Place for Strongest Sustainability Strategy at Abdidaya Ormawa 2026 University General

`

The Environmental Engineering Student Association (HMTL) of Udayana University has once again achieved prestigious national recognition by securing 3rd Place at the Abdidaya Ormawa 2026 event.

In this highly competitive student event organized by Belmawa, the Udayana University HMTL delegation specifically won the award for the "Student Organization with the Strongest Sustainability Strategy" category. This achievement is a strong testament to the commitment and capability of Environmental Engineering students in designing community empowerment programs (PPK Ormawa) that are not only innovative but also feature a well-developed, high-impact long-term sustainability roadmap.

This success is the result of a solid collaboration between the student team and intensive mentorship from their faculty advisors. Through consistent preparation—ranging from program formulation and continuous online visitation mentoring, to their final performance showcase at the peak of the Abdidaya event in Makassar last October—the HMTL team successfully convinced the jury of the quality of their implemented environmental strategies.

This award is expected to inspire the entire academic community of the Environmental Engineering Study Program at Udayana University to continue developing community service programs that are adaptive, solution-oriented, and firmly grounded in environmental sustainability principles.
