Implementation of the Teaching Practical Program University General

Teaching Practical is one of the Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) programmes held so that university graduates are better prepared to enter the world of work. In this programme, the Study Programme is encouraged to actively collaborate with expert practitioners in order to create a deep and meaningful exchange of knowledge and expertise between academicians in higher education and professionals in the world of work.

The Environmental Engineering Study Programme in the Even Semester of the 2022/2023 academic year has implemented the programme in the Drinking Water Treatment Building Planning (PBPAM) course and the Wastewater Treatment Building Planning (PBPAL) course. The Environmental Engineering lecturer who initiated the activity was Dr Eng. Ni Made Pertiwi Jaya, ST, M.Si, M.Eng. By inviting I Putu Sujana, ST, M.Si from the UPT PAL agency of the PUPR Office of Bali Province to teach the PBPAL course and Kompiang Pasek Gede Wedha, ST from the PT Mitra Tirta Dewata Consultant to teach the PBPAM course.

On Wednesday (7 June 2023) and Friday (9 June 2023), the first meeting was held, out of five total meetings planned. The meeting was also attended by Ir. Kadek Diana Harmayani, ST, MT, Ph.D. (Koprodi Environmental Engineering) and Ida Ayu Rai Widhiawati, ST., MT. (Lecturer of PBPAL course). It is hoped that the experience and knowledge of these practitioners can be a provision for students, to know more about the actual conditions in the field.
